Verlyn serves as the church planter and head pastor of Friendship Community Church. He is also the father of 4 children and husband to Carol Schaap.
Carol serves as the administrative assistant of Friendship Community Church.

Dr. Thor serves as our associate pastor of discipleship. He is a minister, a doctor, and a Green Bay Packer fan.
Dr. Thor and his family returned from Africa in 2007 where he had served as a missionary for a year and a half. Dr. Thor and his Wife Karin have 3 children and have been members of Friendship Community Church since 2003. |

Kelly serves as the Director of Small Groups for Friendship Community Church.
She moved to Sioux City in 2001 with her husband Dave and has 2 children.
Friendship Community Church is excited to have Kelly build and strengthen small
groups in the church because we believe small groups is where life change happens. |

Mike and his family are serving at the Daniel Center in Nigeria,
Africa.
Our church family is excited to support the Ribbens family as they go to Africa in obedience to God's call on their lives.

Larry and Ann have been working with the Fulbe people in Mali West Africa. The Fulbe have been very wecloming
and four people have become Christians in the village for whom we ask prayer as they face daily persecution for their faih. Their
work is expanding into two new adjoining areas where colleagues have had to return to their home countries. Please keep them in your
prayers as they cover a much larger area and that God will prepare hearts and minds for his word.
