Verlyn serves as the church planter and head pastor of Friendship Community Church. He is also the father of 4 children and husband to Carol Schaap.

Dr. Thor serves as our associate pastor of discipleship. He is a minister, a doctor, and a Green Bay Packer fan.
Dr. Thor and his family returned from Africa in 2007 where he had served as a missionary for a year and a half. Dr. Thor and his Wife Karin have 3 children and have been members of Friendship Community Church since 2003. |

Terry serves as the Administrative Assistant for Friendship Community Church.
She is married to her husband Dave McFarland. They have two boys and one grandchild. |

Mike and his family are serving at the Daniel Center in Nigeria,
Africa.

Larry and Ann have been working with the Fulbe people in Mali West Africa. The Fulbe have been very wecloming
and four people have become Christians in the village for whom we ask prayer as they face daily persecution for their faih. Their
work is expanding into two new adjoining areas where colleagues have had to return to their home countries. Please keep them in your
prayers as they cover a much larger area and that God will prepare hearts and minds for his word.

Friendship Community Church has commited to supporting Keo as a pastor ministering to the Laotian community at the Siouxland Unity Christian Reformed Church.
The church is located at 601 Court Street in Sioux City Iowa and worships every Sunday morning at 11 AM. Everyone is welcome!
